Identifier or phrase to convert. Maximum 64 KiB. Word-aware cases split on case, space, and symbol boundaries. Slug keeps alphanumerics only.

A case converter rewrites text in a different letter case or naming convention. Programming languages disagree about how to write a name made of several words: JavaScript uses camelCase, Go uses PascalCase for exported names and C# for public ones, Python uses snake_case, CSS and URLs use kebab-case, and constants are often CONSTANT_CASE. Headlines want Title Case.
Paste an identifier or a short phrase, up to 64 KiB, and this tool returns every common form at once, in your browser.
Word-aware forms split on changes of case, spaces and symbols, then rejoin the words. That is why getUserID becomes get_user_id rather than getuserid.
Most converters ask you to pick a target first, and then you click again when the codebase wanted the other convention. Here you paste once and copy the field you need.
Use the slug for a URL path or a file name. Use kebab-case when you want punctuation treated as a word break. Use UPPERCASE or lowercase when you only want the letters changed and the rest of the text left alone.
Snake Case Converter, Alternating Case Converter and Upside Down Text Generator on ToolkitBay each do one thing. Use Snake Case Converter when snake_case is all you need, and this page when you want the full set side by side.
Inside a code repository, your editor's rename refactoring is the right tool, because it updates every reference. This page is for text that is not in a file yet.
Do not use the slug as a security check. It is a display transform, not sanitizing of a path or a file name on disk.
Acronyms are where every case library shows its seams. HTTPServer has no single correct split, so check the output when a run of capitals matters.
Slug and kebab-case usually agree but not always. Hello, World! becomes hello-world in both, but getUserID becomes getuserid as a slug and get-user-id as kebab-case.
Round trips are not guaranteed. Convert to snake_case and back to camelCase and an acronym may not come back the way it started.
Conversion runs in your browser. The text is not sent to ToolkitBay's servers.
